Teamed up with Denton Corker Marshall architects, CX Landscape win the design competition to renovate the Yifu Library building facade, interior, and front plaza area.

The concept is from the distance mountain view of the library building. Our proposal “ The Landscape Mask and Painting Scroll” takes its form from the Chinese traditional book made of bamboo slips, silk script. The contemporary new façade frames the distance mountain view into a series of “landscape screens” just like the Chinese painting scrolls.

The interior is treated as a Landscape with water theme. The corrugated pavement and the ceilings and pillars wrapped in corrugated mirror stainless steel extend the water theme infinitely in all directions.
